The Mancala Consultores team, in partnership with Dinámica Ltda and with funding from the Inter-American Development Bank, is currently on a field mission in Colombia to kick off a consultancy project aimed at identifying and evaluating tax revenues and expenditures with a focus on environmental and climate issues.
In this initial phase, we are holding strategic meetings in Bogotá with key stakeholders, such as the Ministry of Finance, the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN), and the National Planning Department (DNP). These meetings are laying the groundwork for an analysis of the tax system at both national and subnational levels.
This project will help strengthen the country’s fiscal management and integrate environmental considerations into tax policy, fostering a more sustainable and resilient economy.
