The evaluation focused on the impact of Budget Support in El Salvador on budget support programmes implemented in the years 2009 and 2017 by the European Union. The evaluation focused on the contribution of the programmes implemented in the sectors of education, social protection, quality/development of the private sector and public financial management. The standard methodology for the evaluation of budget support developed within the OECD/DAC framework was used.
