Capitalisation on a Development Policy Loan and feasibility of a subsequent program in support to gender responsive public financial management in Jordan

This assignment focuses on supporting Jordan’s efforts to strengthen gender equality through improved public financial management (PFM). Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) has been implemented since 2021 with support from the French Development Agency (AFD) via a Development Policy Loan (DPL) and Technical Assistance (TA). Despite progress, challenges remain in fully institutionalizing GRB, integrating it across government functions, and scaling up its implementation. This assignment therefore seeks to evaluate the outcomes of the initial GRB program and assess the feasibility of a subsequent program to advance these goals.
