We are excited to share that Mancala Consultores has been awarded the Evaluation of UNICEF’s Country Program in Panama for the period 2021-2025. This evaluation aims to assess achievements, results, strategies, modes of cooperation and contributions to the exercise of the rights of children and adolescents, especially those in situations of greater vulnerability, at both national and subnational levels. The findings of the evaluation will also guide UNICEF’s programming forr the 2026-2030 period.
Additionally, the evaluation includes a gender program review to analyze the implementation of the Gender Action Plan in the national context, identify gaps, and propose solutions to strengthen the gender component in the next cooperation program.
The evaluation uses a mixed-method approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data, and considers UNICEF’s added value in the interventions. It focuses on the six standard DAC criteria—relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, sustainability, impact—and gender equality.
This evaluation will ensure we continue to make impactful contributions to the lives of children and adolescents in Panama.
