Technical assistance to green public finance and investment management for the Republic of Serbia

The GoS, with the support of World Bank and AFD is working towards accelerating the operationalization of the Green Agenda within key ministries and agencies to undertake the changes needed to improve the links between the Green Agenda and public finance & investment through a four-year budget support program.The technical assistance team provides support to Draft a Green Budgeting methodology and its implementation plan. Another component includes assisting in refining and finalizing the guidelines for mainstreaming environmental and climate considerations into sector strategies and assists in the formulation and implementation of the green budget methodology for assessing budget item alignment with the Green Agenda.
