Support mission for the completion of the accelerated growth and sustainable development strategy (SCAD2D 2015 - 2019) and the development of its priority action plan of the Union of the Comoros

The overall objective of the mission was to support the Government of the Union of the Comoros in refining the medium and long-term development strategy, and to assist in defining a programme of action for the period 2015 – 2019. The specific objective of the mission was to support the General Planning Commission, in collaboration with the Permanent Technical Secretariat of the Ministry of Planning, in the preparation of the following planning documents: the Strategy Document for Accelerated Growth and Sustainable Development 2015 – 2019 (SCADD), and Priority Action Planning, which, for all sectors of economic and social activity, on each island of the country, is in consolidation with the objectives and means set out in the said strategy.
