Review of MECI and 360 Degrees evaluation methodologies and appointment of heads of internal control to strengthen the Internal Control System in public entities in Colombia

In the framework of the EU programme “Institutional strengthening of Colombian capacity to increase integrity and transparency”, a critical review was carried out of: i) the evaluation instrument of the Internal Control Standard Model; ii) the performance evaluation instrument of Internal Control Heads used by the Public Function (360 Degrees evaluation), and iii) the results of the appointment of Internal Control Heads by the President of the Republic in the anti-corruption strategy in terms of their independence, autonomy and added value for the organisations.
