Project to Strengthen Public Finance Management in Colombia

The objective of the Strengthening Public Financial Management Project was to support the activities of the entities concerned in relation to public financial management in Colombia. In particular, support was provided for the identification and control of the main fiscal contingencies; the efficient and effective management of fiscal resources in territorial entities; the efficient management of state assets; the state’s capacity for transparent accountability; and the proper functioning of inter-institutional coordination in public finances. Technical support was provided to the project manager and the implementing agency, to the technical teams in the elaboration of terms of reference. In addition to participation in proposal evaluations, and acted as quality guarantor of the project’s consultancy products.
