Evaluation and Prospective Assessment Study of the Technical and Financial Assistance Project to the General Directorate of Taxes (PATF/DGI) of Burkina Faso

The evaluation of this project aims to strengthen the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) of Burkina Faso through technical and financial assistance. The project focuses on enhancing the DGI’s capacity to mobilize internal resources, improve tax collection efficiency, and promote transparency. The project under evaluation is implemented in three phases (2010-2025), focused on capacity-building and includes the establishment of a fiscal policy unit and an integrated taxation system, digitalization, updating taxpayer records, and reducing fiscal risks, among other actions.
