The Sustainable Infrastructure Programme (UKSIP) is an up to £175 million programme designed to provide a combination of concessional capital funding and technical assistance to focus on sustainable infrastructure in Latin America, specifically Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. This evaluative exercise has been commissioned under the dual objectives of evaluating the performance of UKSIP’s actions, on the one hand, and providing a forward-looking assessment of the potential implementation of UKSIP in broader geographical and/or sectoral contexts. As a mid-term evaluation exercise, the conclusions and recommendations are expected to feed into the remaining implementation period of the initiative.
