A successful mission in Tajikistan took place in May 2023. This assignment was undertaken under the project, financed by the European Union, “Technical Assistance to the education and labour sectors of the Republic of Tajikistan” and implemented by Eductrade. We had meetings with the main actors involved in the implementation of the “Technical/vocational education and training (TVET) and employment sector Budget Support programme” financed by the European Union. The objective of the mission was to assess the Ministry of Labour, Migration, and Employment’s (MOLME) monitoring and evaluation capacity to achieve the Budget Support indicators. We provided training and technical advice. The main output of the mission will be the design and testing of a specific monitoring tool for the follow-up of the implementation of the Budget Support program and its disbursement indicators.
